The Bakaano Police in Cape Coast have placed in custody a 38-year-old mechanic, Philip Cobbina, aka Amortei, for allegedly murdering Kweku Awortwi, whom Cobbina suspected of having an affair with his wife.
The accused persons — Kwame Ayew alias Red and Sherif Kabore — are facing three counts of conspiracy to commit murder, murder of Samuel Best Ennin and attempted murder of Stephen Amoah who were said to be at the drinking spot on February 9, 2007 at the Pankrono Estate.
